Mustafa is a nationally board-certified physician assistant (PA-C) who was raised in San Antonio where he graduated cum laude with a bachelor’s degree in respiratory care from the University of Texas Health Science Center. At UT Health San Antonio, he successfully completed a clinical specialization in adult critical care and was placed in the Lambda Beta Society, which is the National Honor Society for the Profession of Respiratory Care. Mustafa then attended King’s College in Wilkes-Barre, PA, one of the top physician assistant programs in the country, graduating with a master’s degree in physician assistant studies. As a physician assistant student at King’s College, he completed a pain management rotation where he was taught the basics of pain management by board pain management specialists and anesthesiologists.
