George Tidd III

George Tidd III has over 14 years of work experience in various roles. George is currently employed as a Linux Engineer - Monitoring Platforms at InterVision Systems since August 2021. Prior to this, they worked at Spectrum for 4 years as a Systems Engineer III - SMB Messaging Operations, where they managed customer-facing provisioning platforms and worked with a range of hardware and software. Before Spectrum, George worked at Comcast Cable for 10 years, starting as a Communication Technician III and progressing to Supervisor - Service Policy Assurance. In their role as a supervisor, they managed a team of technicians, provided technical training, handled escalated customer inquiries, and performed performance appraisals. George also worked as a Customer Security Assurance Engineer and Technician, handling abuse, policy, and security issues affecting Comcast subscribers.

George Tidd III completed their education history with a Bachelor of Applied Science (B.A.Sc.) degree in Information Technology from the University of Phoenix, which they attended from 2014 to 2016. Prior to that, they obtained an Associate of Applied Science degree from ITT Technical Institute, where they studied from 2001 to 2003. In addition to their formal education, George has also obtained certifications in AWS and DevOps from TestDome in May 2021 and has been certified as a Red Hat Certified System Administrator (RHCSA) by Red Hat in July 2019.
