Giovanni Cermola

Giovanni Cermola is an experienced IT Application Architect and Software Engineer, currently serving as the IT Technical Lead at Intesa Sanpaolo since September 2022, focusing on main frame migration, software development, project estimates analysis, and core banking architecture design. Prior to this, Giovanni worked at Banca Profilo from May 2018 to September 2022 as a FullStack Developer and IT Application Architect, specializing in Java back-end and Angular front-end development, among other areas. Giovanni’s earlier experience includes software development roles at R2Gfree, internships at Università Degli Studi Di Pavia and Fondazione Salvatore Maugeri, and sales consulting at Airestim S.r.l. Giovanni holds a Master's degree in Bioengineering of Cells and Tissues and a Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Engineering, both from Università di Pavia.
