Paolo Oppizzio

Paolo Oppizzio, CFA, currently serves as the Head of Credit Portfolio Trading at Intesa Sanpaolo since April 2021, focusing on trading cash bonds, credit derivatives, and ABS/CLO. Previously, Paolo held the role of Proprietary Trader in the Credit Portfolio at Banca IMI from April 2012 to April 2021, specializing in cash bonds and credit derivatives on EUR HY and IG. Earlier experience at Intesa Sanpaolo in New York included roles in Structured Credit Trading and Credit Trading, where Paolo traded various structured products and US corporate bonds. Paolo began their career with internships at J.P. Morgan and Tradition UK, gaining exposure to derivatives and fixed income. Academic credentials include an MBA in Quantitative Finance from NYU Stern School of Business and a degree from Università Bocconi.
