Francesca Betancourt is a seasoned professional in the fields of arts education, intimacy direction, and program management. Currently serving as the Director of Programs and Program Manager at South End Stories since June 2020, Francesca oversees all programming efforts while also managing media and communication strategies. As an Intimacy Director and Instructor, Francesca facilitates workshops on intimacy and consent for theatre and film artists. Additionally, Francesca founded the storytelling event and podcast "she is FIERCE," curating performances from female-identifying individuals. With a background in educational consulting and facilitation for various arts organizations, Francesca holds a Bachelor's degree in Theatre Arts and Sociology from Western Washington University and has furthered professional development through specialized training programs.
