Simon Iley has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and companies. Simon started their career in 2007 with INTO University Partnerships, where they served as a Student Services Officer and later as a Marketing Coordinator. In 2010, they became the Recruitment Manager for East Asia at INTO Queen's. In 2013, they joined the Natural History Museum as a Sales and Marketing Manager for Touring Exhibitions, before returning to INTO University Partnerships as a Senior UK Recruitment Manager for China. Simon then progressed to the role of Deputy Director of Partner Strategy before becoming the Vice President of Recruitment for China, Hong Kong, and Macau. Currently, they hold the position of Senior Vice President of Recruitment (East) at INTO University Partnerships.
Simon Iley completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in Archaeology at Newcastle University in 2007. Simon then pursued a Master of Arts degree in Heritage Management at the University of Birmingham, which they completed in 2012. Currently, Iley is working towards a Doctorate of Business Administration with a focus on Higher Education Management at the University of Bath, expected to be completed in 2024.
