Mr. Richman was the Dean of International Recruitment and an Adjunct Professor of Law for Hofstra University. In this position, he was responsible for all aspects of the admissions process for undergraduate and graduate programs within the division of Enrollment Management. This includes strategic planning, budgeting, staff management, knowledge of university policy, immigration law and analysis of historic market data and metrics.
In addition to internal efforts, Mr. Richman has utilized external vendors and partners to support the goals of internationalization at Hofstra. His efforts have resulted in several partnerships, agreements, and ongoing relationships across the globe. He has been an active member of various professional organizations throughout his career in higher education: first, as a member and leader within AALS (the American Association of Law Schools); as a member of NAFSA, and the EducationUSA community. He is a regular speaker and panel member for numerous conferences, and he looks forward to continuing these professional relationships on behalf of the new INTO Hofstra center. Prior to Hofstra, he worked for a Long Island law firm and focused on real estate and international/domestic business transactions . Mr. Richman holds a BA from Hofstra University, a JD from Hofstra Law School, and an MA in Organizational Psychology from Columbia University, Teachers College.
