Emmanuella Sarpong

Emmanuella Sarpong is an accomplished professional with a diverse background in healthcare and performing arts. Currently a founding member at Guy's and St Thomas' NHS Foundation Trust since September 2018, Emmanuella contributes to innovative medical research, particularly in the development of an artificial intelligence tool for diagnosing childhood sepsis. In addition to volunteering at Akoma Asa performing Arts, Emmanuella has extensive mentoring experience with IntoUniversity, dating back to primary school. Recent internships at the University of Southampton involved research in cancer immunology and developmental science. Previous roles include a part-time food service assistant at Sainsbury's and experiences in dance and film, collaborating with organizations such as King's College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust and BBC Films.
