Giulia Mifsud has extensive experience in educational and administrative roles, currently serving as Regional Operations Manager for East London at IntoUniversity since August 2016. Previously, Giulia has held various positions within the organization, including Centre Leader Brent and Acting Assistant Regional Operations Manager for the North West London Cluster. Prior to joining IntoUniversity, Giulia worked as a Learning Support Assistant at Our Lady's Convent High School and St. Dorothy's Convent Senior School, as well as an Administrative Assistant at the UCL Institute of Education. Giulia's educational background includes a Master's degree in Psychology of Education from IOE - UCL's Faculty of Education and Society and multiple degrees in Psychology and Theatre Studies from the University of Malta.
IntoUniversity
IntoUniversity is an award-winning charity that runs local learning centres which provide an education programme to support young people facing disadvantage in achieving their chosen aspiration. We target children and young people most at risk of failing to meet their potential to go to university due to economic, social, cultural, or linguistic disadvantage. IntoUniversity provides practical learning support and motivational and confidence-building activities for children and young people aged 7-18. We currently have 44 centres across England and Scotland. IntoUniversity is an on-going and long-term service: at the heart of the programme is the belief that underachievement is best addressed in the context of a long-term pastoral engagement with young people where we can build their esteem and support their learning in order that they can reach their potential.
