Hassan Lakkis

Hassan Lakkis is an accomplished biostatistics professional with extensive experience in the pharmaceutical industry. Currently serving as the VP and Head of Biostatistics at Intra-Cellular Therapies since April 2019, Hassan previously held various senior roles at Allergan from June 2004 to April 2019, including Associate Vice President and Executive Director in the Department of Statistical Science, where leadership was provided to a team of 12 statisticians focused on central nervous system and anti-infective projects. Additionally, Hassan worked as a Senior Biometrician at Merck from November 1997 to May 2004, contributing to vaccine projects such as VAQTA, Varicella, and hepatitis B vaccines, and played a vital role in the approval of VAQTA as a standard vaccination for children. Hassan earned a PhD in Statistics from Old Dominion University between 1988 and 1994.
