Dr. Jyothi Chava

Dr. Jyothi Chava has a diverse work experience as a data scientist and project engineer. From 2022 to the present, they worked at IntraEdge as a Senior Data Scientist, where they conducted time series analysis, developed predictive models, and created interactive dashboards using tools like Facebook Prophet, Scikit learn, and Tableau. Prior to that, they served as a Senior Data Scientist at Newron Tech Inc from 2019 to 2022, where they developed vehicle health prediction models, conducted text mining, analyzed diagnostic trouble codes, and developed algorithms for odometer fraud detection. Dr. Jyothi also worked as a Data Scientist at Florida Atlantic University from 2017 to 2019, where they collected and analyzed real estate data, developed web scrapers, and cleaned and transformed data for modeling. Additionally, they worked as a Research Scholar at Curtin University from 2013 to 2017, conducting web scraping, text mining, and data cleaning. Earlier in their career, they served as a Data Scientist at BILLION INFO PRIVATE LIMITED from 2011 to 2013, and as a Project Engineer at Innovative Transport Solutions (iTrans) Pvt Ltd from 2009 to 2011, where they collected and analyzed transportation data and developed future travel demand scenarios.

Dr. Jyothi Chava completed their Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) degree in Civil Engineering from Acharya Nagarjuna University between 2003 and 2007. Dr. Jyothi then pursued a post-graduation degree in Transportation Engineering at the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi from 2007 to 2009. Later, they earned a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Sustainability Studies from Curtin University from 2014 to 2017.
