Marianne Vermeer

Marianne Vermeer is a board member at IntraHealth International and a senior fellow at the Acumen Fund. Marianne has also served as a management and strategic consultant to emerging companies and non-profit organizations through their previous company, Vermeer Consulting Group LLC.

Vermeer has extensive experience in developing compelling business plans, strategic planning, market research, financial management, and providing contract management services. Marianne has also served as a contract CFO for multiple early stage companies and was the marketing manager and consultant trainer for an organization development consultancy. In addition, they have advised two Virginia state government agencies on the development of effective entrepreneur support and small business strategies.

Vermeer has authored, edited, and researched business plans and Private Placement Memoranda for companies in industries as diverse as energy trading, medical devices, entertainment, software development, mail processing equipment, and health services.

Marianne Vermeer has an MBA in Entrepreneurial Management from the Wharton School and a BS in Child Development from Colorado State University. Marianne also attended North Platte High School.
