Alex Gover has a diverse work experience, starting with their role as the International Marketing Executive at Sony Electronics in 1989. Alex then worked as the Director of Barefoot Communications for twelve years before joining Intralink as a Project Manager in 2007. At Intralink, they operated on behalf of western clients in Tokyo, identifying Japanese customers and partners. Following their time at Intralink, Alex joined Arnis Sound Technologies as the Sales and Marketing Director for Europe. Alex returned to Intralink in 2010 as the Director of Business Development, responsible for identifying companies interested in expanding their business in the Far East and driving marketing efforts. Alex subsequently became the Senior Vice President of Business Development before their current role as the Executive Vice President at Intralink.
Alex Gover attended Clifton College from 1982 until 1987. Alex then went on to study Japanese, Chinese, and Economics at the University of Oxford from 1987 to 1992. In addition, they obtained a diploma in Japanese from Sophia University between 1990 and 1991. Prior to their time at Oxford, they also studied Japanese language at The University of Sheffield from 1987 to 1988.
