Mark Dingfield

Mark Dingfield is the current Vice President of Finance and Treasurer at the University of Pennsylvania. Mark has held this position since September of 2017. Prior to that, they were the Associate Provost for Finance and Planning at the University from January 2016 to August 2017. Before that, they were the Executive Director for Planning, Analysis, and Technology at Princeton University from July 2012 to January 2016.

Dingfield began their career in finance as a Business and Project Manager in the Office of the Vice President for Finance and Treasurer at Princeton University in March 2010. Mark then transitioned to a Senior Consultant role at Think Act in July 2007 before taking on a Senior Product Manager role at Microsoft from March 2003 to June 2007.

Mark Dingfield received their BA in Political Science from Swarthmore College. Mark then went on to earn their MSc in Public Policy from The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE). Finally, they completed their PhD in Political Science at Temple University.

They work with and James J. Husson - VP, Development & Alumni Relations. Mark Dingfield reports to Medha Narvekar, Vice President and University Secretary.
