Senior Scientist at Intralytix

Chythanya Rajanna Das has worked at four different companies since 2005. From 2005 to 2007, they were a Research Associate at the University of Maryland, where they conducted DNA Microarray based genome comparison of Georgian Y. pestis strains, compared gene expression profiles of different strains, and performed whole genome sequencing of Georgian Y. pestis strain 1690G. In 2005, they were also a Research Associate at Case Western Reserve University, where they investigated the proteins involved in attachment of F. nucleatum to different cell lines, studied the involvement of Toll like receptors in the transcytosis of the cells, used front-end techniques of molecular biology and proteomics, and investigated the association, invasion and transcytosis of F. nucleatum. From 2007 to 2014, they were an Asst. Professor at the University of Florida, where they developed a robust bacteriophage cocktail against multi drug resistant E. coli associated with Marine mammals, as well as developed Y. pestis vaccines.
