Stephen Sommerlot

Stephen Sommerlot has worked in a variety of roles since 2009. Stephen began their career as a Crew Leader at RC Contractors in 2009. In 2011, they took on two roles at the Composite Vehicle Research Center at Michigan State University, as an Undergraduate Research Assistant and Water Treatment Personnel. From 2013 to 2015, they served as a Graduate Research Assistant at the Composite Vehicle Research Center, conducting research on composite materials and composite materials processing for aerospace applications. In 2015, they became a Rotational Engineer at Williams International, and in 2016 they were hired as a Design Engineer at Dart Container. Most recently, in 2022, they were appointed as the Mechanical Systems Lead Engineer at Intramotev.

Stephen Sommerlot received a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Mechanical Engineering from Michigan State University in 2013, followed by a Master's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the same institution in 2015.
