Sanjiv Kalkar is a Cyber Security Consultant with over 20 years of experience. Sanjiv Kalkar started their career as a Programmer/Analyst at REBNY, where they developed data entry interfaces and designed reports. Sanjiv Kalkar also administered a Novell Netware network and provided troubleshooting support.

Sanjiv Kalkar, a Cyber Security Consultant, holds a Master of Science in Information Security (MSIS) from Lewis University, which they obtained from 2010 to 2012. Earlier in their education, they earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Computer Science & Math from Brooklyn College, completing their studies from 1990 to 1994. Before that, they also pursued a B.S. degree in Computer Science from Pace University, studying there from 1989 to 1991.

In addition to their formal education, Sanjiv has obtained several certifications to further enhance their expertise. In 2017, Sanjiv obtained the Certified in Risk and Information Systems Control™ (CRISC) certification, also conferred by ISACA. Sanjiv Kalkar continued to expand their knowledge with certifications such as the Certificate of Cloud Security Knowledge (CCSK v4) from the Cloud Security Alliance in 2019 and the Certified Data Privacy Solutions Engineer certification from ISACA in 2020.
