Scott M.

Scott M. has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. In 2022, they joined Intraprise Health as the Chief Security Officer. Prior to that, in 2021, they founded and served as the CEO of M4 Solutions. Scott also worked as an Adjunct Professor and MHA Advisory Board Member at Duquesne University starting in 2019.

From 2017 to 2019, Scott was the Manager of Cyber Controls Governance at HM Health Solutions, where they played a key role in enhancing information security and IT controls across multiple lines of businesses. Scott also led the development of successful information security compliance programs.

Before that, from 2015 to 2017, Scott worked as a Senior IT Audit Analyst in Information Security at Highmark Health. Their responsibilities included leading audits and compliance testing related to security and infrastructure management.

Scott's earlier experiences include working as a Senior IT Internal Auditor at UPMC in 2014, where they conducted medical information technology consulting and oversaw annual compliance testing. Scott also served as an IT Manager at Every Child Inc from 2011 to 2014, where they implemented and managed various projects to improve efficiency and productivity.

Scott's career began in the US Army, where they worked as a Program Manager, leading the deployment and implementation of a records management archiving system in multiple locations throughout Europe and the United States.

In addition to their employment history, Scott has also served as a member of the Editorial Review Board for the International Journal of Cyber Research and Education since 2018.

Scott M. completed their Bachelor of Science in Business and Information Systems from the University of Phoenix between 2007 and 2011. Later, they pursued a Master's of Information Systems degree specializing in Computer and Information Sciences Management from the University of Phoenix from 2013 to 2014. Scott M. furthered their education by completing a Master of Healthcare Informatics degree with a focus on Medical Informatics at Chatham University from 2016 to 2018.
