Aart van 't Oever

(Bio)process developer / Researcher DSP at Intravacc

Aart van 't Oever has extensive work experience in the field of vaccine development and research. Aart began their career in 2001 with an internship at the Wageningen Laboratory of Virology, where they gained experience in antigenicity and immunogenicity research. In 2002, they worked as a freelancer before joining the Netherlands Vaccin Institute in 2004 as a Research Scientist. During their time there, they focused on general DSP (Downstream Processing) research and was involved in producing GMP clinical trial batches for both bacterial and mammalian-based vaccines. In 2005, Aart collaborated with Crucell as a Temporary Project Technician, where they contributed to the production of clinical trial materials under GMP and BSL-3 conditions. From 2004 to 2013, they also worked at the National Institute for Public Health and the Environment (RIVM), where they were responsible for improving DSP yields and conducting general DSP research. Aart's most recent position was at Intravacc, an Institute of Translational Vaccinnology, where they served as a (Bio)process Developer/Researcher DSP. Their work involved developing vaccines from the laboratory to clinical studies in humans. Throughout their career, Aart has demonstrated expertise in DSP, troubleshooting, validation, and improving routine vaccine production.

Aart van 't Oever completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Agriculture, Husbandry, and Biotech from CAH dronten in the years 1996 to 2000. Following that, they pursued a Master of Science degree in Biotechnology from Wageningen University & Research during the years 2000 to 2002.
