Chst Matthew Forkel

Matthew Forkel, CHST, currently serves as the Corporate Safety Manager at INTREN, LLC, a position held since March 2017, where responsibilities include promoting a strong safety culture and conducting jobsite inspections to identify unsafe conditions. Previously, Matthew worked as a Project Manager at Custom Environmental Services, Inc. from December 2014 to May 2016, managing hazardous waste projects. Prior experience includes various roles at CDM Smith from October 2006 to November 2014, focusing on environmental health and safety, and a laborer position at Lemont Township Highway Department from May 1999 to March 2006, performing road maintenance tasks. Matthew holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Environmental Science from Augustana College, attained between 2001 and 2005.
