Gustaf Angelborg

Gustaf Angelborg has extensive work experience in the field of biotechnology and scientific research. Gustaf started their career as a Research Technician at Q-Med in 1997 and later worked as a Research Associate at Halozyme Therapeutics, Inc. from 2000 to 2002. Gustaf then joined the Sidney Kimmel Cancer Center as a Research Associate from 2002 to 2007.

Angelborg further advanced their career as a Senior Research Associate at Cyntellect from 2007 to 2011. During this time, they gained expertise in cell engineering and rare cell identification and analysis.

In 2011, Angelborg joined Intrexon Corporation as a Scientist in the Cell Engineering Unit, where they led a cross-functional project focused on developing a human antibody discovery platform. Gustaf was later promoted to Senior Scientist in the CSO Team from 2016 to 2018, and then to Principal Scientist in the same team from 2019 onwards.

In addition to their corporate roles, Angelborg has served on the Board of Directors for the Swedish American Chamber of Commerce in San Diego since 2017.

Gustaf Angelborg earned a Master of Science degree in Medical Science from Uppsala University between the years 1994 and 2000. Additionally, they have attended UC San Diego, but no specific degree or field of study information is provided for this institution.
