Cheryl Bolinger

Sr. Director, Molecular Biology at Precigen

Cheryl Bolinger has extensive work experience in the field of molecular biology and genomics. Cheryl has held senior positions at Precigen and Intrexon Corporation, where they specialized in the development and optimization of DNA and RNA technologies. Cheryl also worked as a postdoctoral fellow at the National Institute of Child Health and Human Development (NIH/NICHD), where they conducted advanced molecular biology research and served on various committees within the organization. Additionally, they gained experience in science policy and program review during their time at the National Institute of Child Health and Human Development. Cheryl began their career as a research technician at Battelle Memorial Institute before pursuing their graduate studies at The Ohio State University, where they also gained teaching experience as a teaching assistant.

Cheryl Bolinger obtained their Bachelor of Science degree in Molecular Genetics from The Ohio State University, where they studied from 1998 to 2002. Cheryl further pursued their education at the same institution and earned their PhD in Molecular, Cellular and Developmental Biology from 2003 to 2008.
