Georgia Giannopoulou has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. Georgia is currently a Staff Engineer at Intrinsic, starting in May 2022. Prior to that, they worked as a Staff Software Engineer at Akasha Imaging from June 2021 to May 2022, where they built computer vision systems for industrial robots. Before that, they had a series of roles at ABB, including Senior Research Scientist at ABB Research from August 2020 to May 2021, Research Scientist at ABB Future Labs from October 2019 to July 2020, and Research Scientist at ABB Corporate Research from June 2018 to September 2019. At ABB, they conducted research in various areas of industrial software systems, robotics, and embedded systems. From 2003 to 2009, they studied at the University of Patras and obtained a Dipl.-Eng. degree in Computer Engineering and Informatics.
