Jennifer Nguyen

Jennifer Nguyen has a diverse work experience in the field of software engineering and robotics. Jennifer is currently working as a Software Engineer at Intrinsic since January 2023. Previously, they worked as a Software Engineer at Open Robotics from August 2020 to January 2023. Jennifer also gained experience as a Graduate Research Assistant at West Virginia University's Interactive Robotics Laboratory (IRL) from August 2017 to May 2020, where they worked on projects involving autonomous pollination robots. Jennifer has also worked as a Visiting Researcher at NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory in May 2019. Jennifer has prior experience as a Research Assistant Intern at the West Virginia Robotic Technology Center (WVRTC) and as an Advanced Technical Student Worker at Information Technology Services (ITS). Jennifer started their career as an Undergraduate Research Assistant and Software Developer at the WVU Center for Neuroscience from September 2014 to May 2017, where they worked on neuron models and software development for immersive visualization experiences.

Jennifer Nguyen received their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Computer Science with a minor in Mathematics from West Virginia University in 2017. Jennifer continued their education at the same institution and is currently pursuing a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering. In addition, they hold the certification of Open Water Scuba Diver from Scuba Diving International (SDI).
