Tania Briceno has a diverse work experience in economic and ecological research. Tania is currently serving as the Chief Economist at Intrinsic Exchange Group since September 2022. Prior to this, they worked as a Lead Economist at Conservation Strategy Fund from October 2019 to October 2022. Tania also worked as an Ecological Economist at Batker Consulting from March 2019 to November 2021. From 2013 to 2019, Tania held the position of Ecological Economist and Program Director at Earth Economics, where they led various projects related to landscape changes, outdoor recreation, health impacts, and valuation of ecosystem services. Tania has also worked as a Research Coordinator at McGill University in 2012. Their earlier experiences include serving as a Research Assistant at Université du Québec à Montréal in 2008 and as a Research Associate at the National Round Table on the Environment and the Economy from 2007 to 2008. Tania has also worked as a Research Associate for the Green Party of Canada from 2004 to 2006 and as a Researcher at NTNU in 2003.

Tania Briceno has an extensive education history. Tania pursued their academic journey by completing a PhD in Environmental Economics from HEC Montréal, studying from 2006 to 2011. Prior to that, they earned a Master of Arts degree in Ecological Economics from the University of Leeds, which they attended for the academic year 2002-2003. Tania began their undergraduate studies at McGill University, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics and Development from 1999 to 2002.

Moreover, Tania Briceno also obtained a certification in Grant Writing from The Grantsmanship Center in June 2018.
