James E. Dix

MD, Neurological Imaging at Intrinsic Imaging

Dr. James Dix is a board-certified fellowship trained radiologist at Intrinsic Imaging. Dr. Dix is a graduate of Georgia State University and attended medical school at Emory University. He completed his radiology residency at the University of Washington in Seattle before his 2-year neuroradiology fellowship at the University of Virginia. Dr. Dix has authored multiple peer-reviewed articles on neuroradiology and neurosurgery. He has developed and published innovative techniques in percutaneous cement fixation of sacral and pelvic fractures. He lectures nationally on advanced imaging techniques for radiologists and neurosurgeons. He is board-certified in radiology and possesses a certificate of added qualification (CAQ) in neuroradiology.
