James McDonough

James McDonough has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. James is the CEO and Founder of FAT FINGER by SEE Forge, where they empower front-line teams to perform their jobs correctly and safely through the use of digital procedures. James is also the Founder of the Intrinsically Safe Store, a trusted authority in hazardous area products.

Prior to their entrepreneurial ventures, James worked as a Manager at Deloitte Consulting, specializing in Strategy and Operational Excellence Management Consulting. James also served as a Management Consultant at Renoir Consulting, where they delivered successful projects in the oil and gas and property development sectors.

James has also worked as a founder and CEO of McDonough Consulting and as a Management Consultant for the Government of Western Australia. In addition, they gained experience as a Strategy Management Consultant at Best Buy, where they conducted an evaluation of the company's pricing strategy.

Early in their career, James worked in operations at Catalyst Paper, overseeing manufacturing operations, quality control, maintenance, and shutdown assistance.

Throughout their career, James McDonough has demonstrated their expertise in strategy, operational excellence, and consulting, delivering impactful results for various organizations.

James McDonough has an extensive education history. James completed an Entrepreneur Masters Program (EMP) at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in 2025. Additionally, they attended the Wharton Executive Education in 2022 to gain knowledge in Advanced Finance & Operations. In 2009, they obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a focus on International Business from Murdoch University. James also pursued LEAN Six Sigma certification from the Aveta Business Institute in 2010. Earlier in their education, they earned a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) with Honours in Management from Vancouver Island University, where they studied from 2003 to 2007. Furthermore, they attended J.F.Oberlin University from 2004 to 2005, specializing in International Studies and focusing on Japanese language, business, and culture.
