Douglas Pope

Douglas Pope is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in product management and engineering within the real estate technology sector. Currently serving as an Expert at Intro since July 2025, Pope previously held several key roles at Zillow from 2012 to 2025, including Vice President of Product and Engineering for Rentals, where a long-term product strategy was developed to create the largest Rentals Network in the U.S. Additionally, as General Manager of HotPads, Pope focused on audience growth and brand positioning, overseeing product, engineering, design, and marketing efforts for the rentals-only brand. Prior to Zillow, Pope co-founded HotPads in 2005 and led it as the first map-based rental housing search engine, managing all business functions. Douglas Pope holds a B.B.A. in Finance and Political Science from the University of Notre Dame.
