William M. Pottenger

Dr. William M. Pottenger, Ph.D., is the founder and CEO of Intuidex Inc. He brings to the table his thought leadership in the fields of machine learning and data analytics. Academically, Dr. Pottenger has numerous peer-reviewed publications, has served as editor and chair of several symposia and made numerous professional presentations. His students have placed in several well-known companies including Google and Facebook as well as in reputable academic institutions and hi-tech startups. Dr. Pottenger has been a member of ACM, IEEE and SIAM and has served as a program committee member/referee for numerous professional venues, journals, etc. Among other awards he is the recipient of the PC. Rossin Endowed Assistant Professorship and a United States Air Force Certificate of Appreciation. He currently holds a position on the Graduate Faculty at Rutgers University in the Computer Science area.

Dr. Pottenger completed his Ph.D. in Computer Science at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and worked as a Research Scientist at the National Center for Supercomputing Applications as well as at Lehigh University. Dr. Pottenger’s research and development interests include the fields of machine learning as applied in data analytics and parallel and distributed computing in which he has over 25 years of experience. Application domains for the technology he has developed include media and information management, national security, law enforcement and defense.
