Lara Strauss

Lara Strauss has extensive work experience in the field of employment law and ethics. Lara began their career as an employment attorney at Morrison and Foerster from 2002 to 2004. Lara then worked as an employment attorney at Fisher & Phillips LLP from 2004 to 2006. Lara joined Littler Mendelson in 2006 where they held roles as an associate in employment law from 2006 to 2010, and later became a shareholder from 2010 to 2014. After that, they joined Intuit in 2014 and took on various leadership roles. Lara served as the Assistant General Counsel, Employment from 2014 to 2015, and then as the Director, Deputy General Counsel, Global Employment and Ethics from 2015 to 2019. Lara then became the Director, Ethics & Investigations from 2019 to 2020, where they built and led a team dedicated to maintaining a safe and ethical work environment. Currently, Lara is the Vice President, People Experience, People & Places at Intuit, where they lead the People Experience team and focuses on creating a high-trust and inclusive culture for employees.

Lara Strauss holds a BA in English and Sociology from Stanford University. Lara also has a J.D. degree from the University of California, Los Angeles - School of Law. Moreover, they are a certified Compliance & Ethics Professional (CCEP®) by the Compliance Certification Board (CCB), SCCE & HCCA, which they obtained in September 2016. Additionally, Lara holds a certificate in Negotiation and Leadership (Program on Negotiation and Difficult Conversations) from Harvard Law School Executive Education. Lara is also an AWI Certificate Holder, which was issued to their in 2018 by the Association of Workplace Investigators.
