Matthew Allan

Matthew Allan is the current VP of Smart Money Services and Risk Management at Intuit. Prior to joining Intuit, Allan served as the Director of Trust & Safety for Payments, Safe Browsing, and Data Science at Google. In this role, Allan was responsible for leading Trust & Safety for $27B in payments, protecting billions of users worldwide from malicious and unwanted software downloads, and building a world class Data Science organization.

Allan began their career in the payments industry as the Chief Risk Officer at Braintree. During their time at Braintree, Allan helped the company grow from processing $12 billion annually to $27B. Allan’s experience in risk management and payments makes him uniquely qualified to lead Intuit’s Smart Money Services team.

Matthew Allan works with Matt Rhodes - VP, Corporate Finance & Treasurer, Mark Flournoy - SVP, Finance & Chief Accounting Officer, and Julia Wyckoff - VP & Chief Audit Executive. Matthew Allan reports to Michelle Clatterbuck, EVP & CFO.
