Sabel Samone-Loreca

Sabel Samone-Loreca currently serves as the Lead Health Educator at Minority Aids Project and has held positions in creative development at Intuition Films and as a personal trainer at EveryBody's Gym since 2021. Between 2018 and 2021, Sabel was an Advisory Board Member for the LA City Transgender Advisory Council and previously worked as a Barista at Starbucks. Sabel also contributed as a Residential Manager at VICTORY STARTS NOW, aiding individuals experiencing homelessness, and served as a Supervisor at Community Partners, co-authoring a training on gender identity and expression. From 2013 to 2017, Sabel acted as a County Commissioner and Madame Co-Chair of the Consumers Caucus for the Commission on HIV County of Los Angeles, focusing on improving the lives of individuals living with HIV. Sabel was also an Outreach Specialist at Friends Research Institute, Inc., targeting healthcare accessibility for Transwomen of color. Education includes a life degree from Hard Knocks.
