Carlos E. Perez has extensive work experience, beginning in 1994 as an Advisory Software Engineer at IBM. Carlos E. then moved to AdaptiveTrade (Startup) in 2000 as a Principal Software Architect. In 2003, they became a Project Manager at Sprint, followed by a Senior Architect position at the U.S. Department of Education in 2004. In 2005, they were hired as the Director of Product Architecture (Mobile Applications) at ACE*COMM. In 2008, they became a Consultant at Fannie Mae, where they developed the RiskNet (Risk Management) system. In 2010, they were hired as a Consultant at the National Cancer Institute (NCI). In 2011, they became an IT Specialist/Consultant at a Government Agency. Finally, in 2015, they co-founded Intuition Machine.
Carlos E. Perez attended the University of the Philippines where they studied Physics. Carlos E. then pursued a M.S. in Computer Science at the University of Massachusetts Lowell.
