Abhay Kapoor

Abhay Kapoor is a highly experienced professional in manufacturing operations and quality management, currently serving as Sr. Manager of Manufacturing Operations at Intuitive since May 2020. Prior to this role, Abhay held various positions at Schlumberger from August 2008 to May 2020, including Technology Center Planning Manager and Quality Engineering Manager, where responsibilities included managing supplier quality for a diverse portfolio of over 150 suppliers across multiple countries. Abhay also excelled as a Quality Assurance Quality Control Manager and Manufacturing Engineer, overseeing teams to ensure quality compliance and support for global manufacturing initiatives. Abhay began a career as a Field Engineer, successfully leading teams in high-stress offshore environments. Abhay holds a B. Tech degree in Electronics and Communications from the Indian Institute of Technology, Guwahati, obtained in 2008.
