Farid Tavakkolmoghaddam is an accomplished Algorithms Software Engineer currently working at Intuitive since January 2024. Previously, Tavakkolmoghaddam held the position of Research Assistant at AiM Medical Robotics, contributing significantly to the development of kinematic models for an MR-compatible neurosurgery robot and establishing communication systems with surgical planning software. At the WPI AIM Lab, Tavakkolmoghaddam designed high-level C++ software for robotic systems and implemented sophisticated robotic models.
