Junning Li

Junning Li possesses extensive experience in machine learning and neuroimaging research. At Intuitive, Junning held positions ranging from Senior Manager of Machine Learning to Senior Engineer from October 2016 to April 2022. Prior experience includes serving as Assistant Professor of Research at the Stevens Neuroimaging and Informatics Institute at the University of Southern California, focusing on spatial statistics for brain mapping and teaching a graduate course in neuroimaging data processing. Additionally, Junning worked as a Post-Doctoral Fellow at UCLA's Laboratory of Neuro Imaging, conducting research on diffusion MR images and their correlation with intelligence. Earlier roles include Research Scientist at AUG Signals Ltd, where Junning focused on brain tumor detection, and Research Assistant at the University of British Columbia, analyzing neural signals. Junning Li holds a PhD in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of British Columbia and a Master's in Control Science and Engineering from Tsinghua University.
