Nathaniel Agharese

Nathaniel Agharese, PhD, is a Control and Robotics Engineer at Intuitive since January 2024, previously serving as a Postdoctoral Scholar at Stanford University School of Engineering where work focused on an ARPA-H funded project to print functioning human hearts and develop automated calibration techniques for precision cell printing. Agharese has extensive experience as a research assistant in the Stanford Collaborative Haptics and Robotics in Medicine Lab, where contributions included dynamic analysis and control of a soft growing robot. Educationally, Agharese holds a PhD in Mechanical Engineering from Stanford University, supported by a Master's and Bachelor's degree in the same field from Stanford, complemented by roles in various internships and research positions throughout the academic career.
