Ross Lockwood

Ross Lockwood is an experienced industrial designer currently working with the Advanced Design Team at Intuitive since August 2021. Previously, Ross served as a Design Lead in Industrial Design at IDEO from November 2008 to August 2021, where a human-centered approach to innovative design solutions was emphasized. Prior to IDEO, Ross operated as a Freelance Industrial Designer between March 2015 and January 2020, collaborating with hardware startups on the integration of hardware UX and industrial design. Additionally, Ross worked at PriestmanGoode from December 2004 to September 2008 as a Transport and Environments Designer, focusing on personal spaces in hospitality and transportation. Ross holds an MA in Design Products from the Royal College of Art and a BA (Hons) in Industrial Design from Birmingham City University.
