Sepideh Moqadam

Sepideh Moqadam, MASc, is a highly experienced engineer with a strong background in mechanical design and product development, particularly within the medical device industry. Current position as a Staff Mechanical Design Engineer at Intuitive began in February 2022, following experience as a Senior Design Engineer. Prior to this, Sepideh held roles such as Senior R&D Engineer at Baylis Medical, where contributions were made to key product developments, including a ventilator accessory for enhancing performance during the COVID-19 pandemic. Additional experience spans from product development for class III medical devices at Vesalius Cardiovascular to process quality engineering at Stryker, where Sepideh successfully integrated Quality Management Systems in a record time. Educational qualifications include a Master's degree in Engineering Science from Simon Fraser University and a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Tehran.
