Peter Wales

Peter Wales has a diverse work experience spanning over several industries and roles. Peter most recently served as the Head of Finance APAC at Invacare Corporation, a global leader in home and long-term care medical products. Prior to that, they were the Chief Financial Officer at Lightforce, a company specializing in solar solutions. Peter also held the position of Financial Controller at The Selwyn Foundation, a New Zealand charitable trust providing services to older people. Peter has extensive experience in finance and held the role of Chief Financial Officer at Overland Footwear Group and Pharmaco NZ and Australia Ltd. Peter has also worked at Canon New Zealand Limited as the General Manager Finance and at SmartpayCadmus Limited as the Commercial Manager. Additionally, they served as the Chief Financial Officer at Mobilis Networks Limited and held the role of Financial Controller at Argent Networks Limited. Peter started their career as the Financial Controller at Kyocera Mita New Zealand Limited.

Peter Wales has a Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com.) degree from The University of Auckland. Peter also holds certifications as a Chartered Accountant (CA) from Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand, a Chartered Member of the Institute of Secretaries and Administrators (ICSA) from Governance New Zealand Inc., and a Member of Institute of Directors (MInstD) from the Institute of Directors in New Zealand.
