Andrew Stewart is a seasoned professional in bioprocess development with extensive experience in fermentation and downstream processing across various companies. As the Head of Process Development at Invaio since May 2021, Andrew has led the development of microbially expressed products, plant exosomes, and lipid nanoparticles, while also building laboratory capabilities. Prior roles include leading a downstream process development team at Conagen and serving as the engineering lead at Synlogic, where Andrew transferred robust processes for Phase I and II manufacturing. Earlier positions held include senior process engineering roles at The Clorox Company and Amyris, alongside technical contributions at E. & J. Gallo Winery. Andrew holds a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute.
