Nancy Bates, SPHR, SHRM-SCP

Nancy Bates, SPHR, SHRM-SCP, has extensive experience in human resources and leadership roles. Nancy is currently the Chief People and Culture Officer at Invariant Corporation, a position they have held since February 2019. Prior to this, Nancy served as a Senior Human Resources Specialist at Invariant Corporation.

Before joining Invariant Corporation, Nancy spent over 11 years at Jacobs, where they held the role of Human Capital Strategist from January 2007 to February 2019. Nancy also worked as an HR Consultant at John Chapman & Associates for a brief period from September 2006 to January 2007.

Nancy's earlier experience includes working as an HR Manager at Sanmina-SCI from July 2001 to September 2006. Prior to that, they held the position of Human Resources Manager - Southeast Region at SCI Technology, Inc. for over 16 years, from August 1984 to July 2001.

With a strong background in human resources and a focus on people and culture, Nancy brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to their current role at Invariant Corporation.

Nancy Bates, SPHR, SHRM-SCP, holds a Bachelor's Degree in Personnel Psychology from Athens State University. Additionally, they have obtained various certifications, including the Senior Professional in Human Resources® (SPHR®) Certification from the HR Certification Institute - HRCI in May 2003 and the SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) from the SHRM in January 2015.
