Andrew Garfoot, Ph.D. has worked in the scientific field since 2008. Andrew began as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Andrew then went on to become a Graduate Research Assistant at The Ohio State University in 2011. In 2017, they returned to the University of Wisconsin-Madison as a Postdoctoral Researcher. In 2020, they joined the Wisconsin Veterinary Diagnostic Laboratory as a Team Lead and Microbiologist, overseeing day-to-day aspects within the COVID-19 testing lab and processing and analyzing samples for COVID-19. In 2021, they began working as a Senior Scientist at Invenra.
Andrew Garfoot, Ph.D. received their Bachelor of Science in Microbiology, General from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 2011. Andrew then went on to pursue a Master of Science in Microbiology, General from The Ohio State University in 2013. In 2016, they completed their Doctor of Philosophy in Microbiology, General from The Ohio State University.
