Kirk Vander Meulen

Kirk Vander Meulen has over 20 years of work experience. Kirk began their career in 2000 as a Research Assistant at the University of Michigan, where they investigated the higher plant lipid membrane enzyme complex Photosystem II via chemical modification and steady-state activity assays. In 2001, they earned a PhD in Biochemistry from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. From 2007 to 2021, they held the positions of Assistant Researcher and Postdoctoral Researcher at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Currently, they are a Senior Scientist at Invenra.

Kirk Vander Meulen obtained a BS in Cellular and Molecular Biology from the University of Michigan. Kirk then went on to obtain a PhD in Biochemistry from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 2007. Currently, they are in the process of obtaining an MS in Computer Science from the same university.
