Dale Dhanoa

Dr. Dale Dhanoa is the President & CEO of INVENT Pharmaceuticals, Inc. He has over 25 years of experience in senior/executive management in operations, business, corporate development and science and drug discovery and development technologies from world-class U.S pharmaceutical corporations and biotech companies. He began his career in the biopharmaceutical industry by joining Merck Research Laboratories (MRL) of Merck & Co. Inc., in Rahway, New Jersey, USA.

Prior to leading INVENT Pharmaceuticals, Inc., Dr. Dhanoa led Akaal Pharma (U.S, UK and Australia) as its CEO, Executive Vice President of R&D and Chief Scientific Officer of PharmaCore, Inc (now Cambrex), Senior Vice President (SVP) of Research and Discovery of Predix Pharmaceuticals, and SVP of drug discovery of Predix Pharmaceuticals Holding, Inc., Executive Director of Drug Discovery at 3-Dimensional Pharmaceuticals (DDDP/Nasdaq, acquired post-IPO by Johnson & Johnson), Director of Combinatorial Chemistry/Drug Discovery at Alanex Corporation in San Diego, CA (acquired Pre-IPO by Agouron Corporation, now Pfizer), Group Leader of Medicinal Chemistry at Synaptic Pharmaceuticals Corporation, a pioneering neuroscience biopharma and a global leader in the recombinant human cloned G-protein coupled receptors (GPCRs) (SNAP/Nasdaq, acquired by Lundbeck A/S), Research Fellow and Senior Research Scientist at Merck Research Laboratories of Merck & Co., Inc. The drug pipelines invented by Dr. Dhanoa were the key in raising significant capital that culminated in successful IPOs and M&As between private/public biopharmaceutical companies.

He also established strategic partnerships with world-class pharmaceutical corporations including Novartis, Roche Biosciences and Novo Nordisk, DuPont, Boehringer Ingelheim, Merck KGaA, BMS, J&J, Amgen, AstraZeneca and Aventis and others. Dr. Dhanoa has invented/co-invented/authored over 100 U.S and Foreign patents and publications.
