Marcos Salama has a diverse background in business and energy. Marcos began their career in 2008 as an intern at Group Adelanta Engineering (Renewable Energy). Marcos then moved on to become a Project Manager at Siemens Energy in the same year. In 2012, they took on a role as Business Development at Mainspring Energy. From 2013 to 2017, they worked at McKinsey & Company as an Associate Consultant and Engagement Manager. In 2017, they were appointed as GM Groceries Latam at Rappi. Most recently, in 2021, they founded and became the CEO of Inventa.
Marcos Salama attended Stanford University Graduate School of Business from 2011 to 2013, where they earned an MBA. From 2006 to 2008, they attended Icam - Institut Catholique d'Arts et Métiers, where they earned a Master of Engineering (M.Eng.) in General Studies. From 2001 to 2006, they attended Universidad Pontificia Comillas, where they earned a Master of Engineering (M.Eng.) in Mechanical Engineering.
