Charlotte Tabey

Senior Scientist at Inventiva Pharma

Charlotte Tabey has a diverse work experience in the field of chemistry. Charlotte is currently working as a Senior Scientist at Inventiva Pharma since January 2021. Prior to this, they served as a Junior Assistant Professor of Chemistry (ATER) at Université de Lille from September 2019 to August 2020.

Charlotte also has experience working as a Postdoctoral Research Scientist at GSK from January 2018 to July 2019. Charlotte completed their PhD in Organic Chemistry at Université de Bordeaux in October 2017. During their PhD, they also worked as a PhD student in Organic Chemistry at Institut des Sciences Moléculaires from October 2014 to October 2017.

Before their PhD, Charlotte worked as an Undergraduate Researcher at Institut Européen de Chimie et Biologie. Charlotte had two stints in this role - one in 2014 where they conducted research on methodological developments and asymmetric synthesis using new chiral iodines, and another in 2013 where they focused on the synthesis of chiral electrophilic reagents with hypervalent iodine. Prior to that, in 2012, they worked as an Undergraduate Researcher at Institut des Sciences Moléculaires on the synthesis of polyphenols and their interactions with Tau Protein fragments.

Charlotte Tabey completed their education at the Université de Bordeaux. From 2009 to 2012, they obtained a Licence in an unspecified field of study. Charlotte then pursued a Master's degree in Organic Chemistry at the same institution from 2012 to 2014. Finally, they went on to earn a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Organic Chemistry from Université de Bordeaux, completing their studies from 2014 to 2017.
