Andrew Siemer

Andrew Siemer has a diverse range of work experience. Andrew currently serves as the CEO of Inventive Group, Inc., a position they have held since December 2016. Andrew is also an Official Member of the Forbes Technology Council, starting in March 2021. In 2020, they worked as a SAR Technician for TEXSAR: Texas Search and Rescue.

Prior to these roles, Siemer worked as a Firefighter and Probationary Firefighter for the Elgin Fire Department from 2019 to 2020. Andrew was a Member of ASP Insiders, a select group of professionals with expertise in ASP.NET technologies, starting in 2008.

Siemer has also held leadership positions in technology companies. Andrew was the Director of Engineering at Volusion from January 2016 to May 2017, where they built and managed a team of 20 engineers and architects while modernizing the company's CI/CD pipeline. From 2014 to 2015, they served as the Chief Architect at Clear Measure, Inc., responsible for architectural decisions and ensuring quality across all projects. Prior to that, they had various roles at Dell, including Chief Architect and Director of Engineering, where they made technical decisions for dell.com and led the creation of back end systems and infrastructure for Marketvine by Dell.

Additionally, Siemer has contributed as an Author to the DotNetSlackers community and worked as a Senior Technical Architect at Perficient in 2011.

Andrew Siemer attended Santa Monica College from 2009 onwards, where they pursued a degree in Computer Science / General Education. Prior to that, from 2000 to 2002, they studied at ITT Tech and completed an Associate of Arts degree in CAD/CADD Drafting and/or Design Technology/Technician. Additionally, they attended Forkner, although no specific degree or field of study information is provided for that institution.
