Craig Slack has diverse work experience in the IT and project management fields. Craig co-founded and served as the CEO of Invero, a Microsoft Gold Partner and IT services firm. Craig also founded Deadman Heartbeat, a cloud-based software company. Additionally, they worked as a Program Manager at the Vancouver Airport Authority and as a Manager in the Project Management Office at Teck Resources Limited. Craig has also held positions at Groundswell Project Services, Pragmatic Project Management Consultants Inc., Canadian West Coast Chapter PMI, Gointu, and Long View Systems. Craig has extensive experience in project management, cloud migration, IT infrastructure, and managing teams.

Craig Slack completed their Bachelor of Computer Information Systems degree at the University of the Fraser Valley from 1993 to 1998. Craig then pursued further education and obtained a Diploma of Management Skills in Advanced Technology from Simon Fraser University from 1999 to 2000. Craig Slack later enrolled in the Executive MBA Program at Simon Fraser University, where they earned their MBA degree from 2003 to 2005. Additionally, they obtained the Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute in 2007. Craig Slack has also acquired various certifications, including the MCPS (Microsoft Certified Professional), Exam 534: Architecting Microsoft Azure Solutions, and Microsoft Specialist: Architecting Microsoft Azure Solutions from Microsoft, and Moonshots and Moneymakers Oxford Innovation Conference Delegate and Birthing of Giants Fellowship Program Graduate from Birthing of Giants, all obtained in different years.
