Austin Briggs has worked for a variety of companies since 2015. Austin began their career at Ball Aerospace as a Mechanical & Systems Engineering Intern in 2015. In 2016, they worked as a Network Technician for Xcelitek, llc and as a Mechanical & Race Engineering Intern for Flying Lizard Motorsports. From 2017 to 2019, Austin Briggs was involved with the Boston University Rocket Propulsion Group (BURPG) in various roles, including Director, Mechanical Engineer, and Secretary. In 2018, they were a Propulsion & Armament Engineer at Physical Sciences Inc. and in 2019, they joined ABL Space Systems as a Propulsion Development Engineer. Most recently, in 2020, Austin Briggs became the CTO & Co-Founder of Inversion.
Austin Briggs is currently enrolled in Y Combinator's S21 program. Austin previously obtained a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Boston University. Before that, they earned their High School Diploma from Legacy High School.
